Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of DMCC received a senior Diamond trade delegation today headed by Eugénio Bravo da Rosa, President of SODIAM.
The delegation toured the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) in Almas Tower – the only bourse in the GCC affiliated with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) – and discussed Dubai’s position as one of the world’s leading diamond trading hubs.
Angolan Diamonds are key to the global precious stones market outlined the DMCC Executive Chairman, who highlighted how DDE is an increasingly important partner to the international trade due to the strong performance of the tenders, auctions and sales staged there.
The DMCC Executive Chairman also briefed the group on the upcoming Dubai Diamond Conference (DDC) taking place at the DMCC headquarters on 26 September 2019, and extended an invitation to all present to attend.
