The Energy Club is a not for profit initiative which aims to cultivate a dynamic network of energy professionals and create a collaborative environment in which discussion, debate and knowledge sharing can flourish.
The group values are: Innovation - Communication - Collaboration.
The Energy Club holds regular collaborative meetings between energy industry participants irrespective of the location of their activity. The predominant purpose of the Energy Club is to share know-how and serve as a platform for members to ask questions or share ideas that may improve the industry.
The Energy Club has sub-groups and targeted events to deal with numerous topics involved in the energy industry. Further sub-groups may also be formed upon members’ requests to capture a particular market, geography or support service (e.g. HR, Finance, etc).
The Energy Club aims to provide maximum value for members by listening to their needs and providing opportunity to raise and discuss hot-topics. It will provide news and views throughout the industry including technical, economic, legal and other relevant areas with support from the members.
The Energy Club will ensure Members’ privacy and will operate under the Chatham House Rule (not quoting or attributing the views presented in the meetings without the consent of the person or the group).
The Energy Club is organised by the DMCC which allows it to use the iconic Almas Tower, the tallest commercial tower in the Middle East. At 360 metres the Almas Tower stands at the centre of JLT and is the headquarters of DMCC, and home to the Energy Club, Dubai Diamond Exchange and other commodity related businesses.
The Energy Club benefits from access to the Almas Conference Centre for holding seminars and networking events, as well as easy access to the Metro (Jumeirah Lakes Towers Station), major road networks and ample parking.
