Nita Maru is a dynamic UK qualified solicitor and is the Founding/Managing Partner of TWS Legal Consultants DMCC – an established proactive law firm offering private client and corporate services in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. Nita took a lead role in the working group contributing to the DIFC Wills Service Centre rules and is an active member to date.

Nita also featured in the ‘Xpress’ newspaper on Divorce in the UAE. She is privileged to be the exclusive UAE representative for a chapter within The International Comparative Legal Guide to Family Law 2020.
Having been part of the UAE legal sector for over a decade, Nita has forged an excellent and long-standing working relationship with both the Dubai Civil Courts, Personal Status Courts and DIFC Courts. Her services are regularly recommended by consulates and embassies in the UAE.

Farakh is a UK qualified private client lawyer and is registered with the UK Solicitors Regulation Authority and The Dubai Legal Affairs Department. He has a wealth of experience in private client law (both contentious and non-contentious) specialising in DIFC, Abu Dhabi, UAE, Sharia Wills, UK Wills, and probate/administration of estates in the UAE.
Wills and Estate Inheritance matters are key practice areas for Farakh. Farakh prepares Wills for both Muslims and non-Muslims within the UAE and the UK and has administered a high volume of deceased estates through the Dubai Court.
An expert in administrating estates from the beginning through to completion, Farakh assists clients in cases where a Will exists and where the deceased has died intestate (without a Will).
He is highly experienced in advising on matrimonial/divorce matters, custody issues, and financial settlements in Dubai and is adept in drafting settlement agreements. He takes the time to listen to his clients’ circumstances and advises on how best to proceed based on their specific circumstances and their legal rights both in their home country and the UAE.

MARIAM DARR

Mariam is a UK Solicitor Advocate, called to the Bar by Inner Temple, London in 2008. She specializes in private client law comprising of family & divorce law and wills & inheritance matters through the Dubai/Abu Dhabi Courts and the UK.
Mariam can assist both non-Muslim and Muslim clients with issuing divorce proceedings in the UK, and under local Sharia law in the UAE. For the amicable divorce/Sharia divorce procedure, Mariam provides comprehensive representation including assistance at court and drafting of settlement agreements. Mariam has vast experience in advising and drafting settlement agreements which are approved by the Dubai /Abu Dhabi Court. She handles divorce matters for clients based in Abu Dhabi.
Mariam advises on all aspects relating to children’s matters, including maintenance and child arrangement orders relating to residence and contact. She is highly experienced in dealing with all aspects of international divorce, ranging from financial disputes between high net worth clients to the enforcement of court orders abroad. Mariam also advises on the merits of varying maintenance orders and consent orders, as well as negotiating and drafting pre and postnuptial agreements.
