His career has extended all most four decades and included many pivotal roles throughout five continents.
His previous role before joining LR-Consultants was with Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company Limited (DRPIC) in Oman as the Project Director and CEO of the Duqm Refinery project. The DRPIC experience included leading a successful team which delivered the financing of this multi-billion-dollar refinery project in the Middle East. This financing was based on sound business practices included in-depth negotiations with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), commercial and Islamic banks, lenders and their advisors. He also represented DRPIC in worldwide presentations supported by their consultants (Allen & Overy, Credit Agricole, ICIS, IHS-Markit, Wood-Mackenzie and other well-known names), and in addition, liaised with shareholders to deliver maximum value.

Andrew Jamieson is a highly qualified ESG professional, offering more than 20 years of global experience, including ten years in the GCC region, with a clear understanding and experience of international and national approaches in the application of environmental, social and governance-related standards, guidelines and expectations defined by formal regulatory authorities and in relation to the demands of stakeholders and society.
Andrew brings a holistic approach and mindset, recognizing the growing need for transparency and information sharing and shift to ESG integration in more mainstream activities and deals. Increasingly it needs to be driven by value and acknowledgement of the role of environmental social and governance factors in a company’s financial performance.
Most recently Andrew was lead on the impact assessment, for an upstream gas project in Vietnam, which needs to meet stringent Lender Financing requirements. Over the past 2 years, Andrew has also been developing a software to deliver a novel and innovative digital platform for undertaking Environmental and Social Impact Assessments.
