Jignesh Sanghvi is the Chief Financial Officer at DMCC, and a senior member of its leadership team.
Directing the organisation’s overall financial strategy, Jignesh is responsible for leading a variety of corporate finance teams including strategy, accounting, treasury and reporting.
Shaping DMCC’s culture of regulatory compliance and corporate governance, Jignesh oversees the organisation’s critical financial and risk management processes.
Joining in 2006, Jignesh has held various leadership roles within the organisation and across a broad range of operations
With over 20 years of experience in strategy, financial operations and management, Jignesh is a proven strategic leader with a strong track record of both building and managing successful finance and operating teams.
Prior to DMCC, Jignesh worked with Chicago Bridge and Iron, an international EPC company and leading auditing firms in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India.
Jignesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the ICAI in India, ACCA in the United Kingdom, and UAECA in the UAE, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Gujarat University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis International.

Surandar Jesrani is Managing Partner & CEO of MMJS and has over 16 years of experience in the areas of finance, consulting and taxation.
Surandar has been assisting clients with his technical expertise in VAT implementation, VAT health-check reviews, tax advisory and other tax compliances.
Prior to starting MMJS, Surandar has worked with Larsen & Toubro Ltd., General Motors and Infosys in India and Europe. He has also worked with a private equity group in Dubai.
Surandar has functionally supported a similar type of assignment during his work tenure with Infosys.
Surandar has established himself as a prominent name in the GCC and is a regular contributor in Khaleej Times and other media. He supports various large clients on multiple services in different industries. He is also an entrepreneur by nature and believes in adding value to businesses.

Ankur Jain is a Director in the tax practice at MMJS and has more than 12 years of experience in indirect tax/VAT having previously worked in India and Malaysia.
Ankur is the lead VAT Project Manager for a number of clients including big family groups, Free Zones, local and multinational entities with operations across GCC.
Ankur has experience in Managing Tax Technology tools like Thomson Reuters One Source, VAT Management Solution.
Prior to joining MMJS, Ankur was VAT Senior Manager working with KPMG Lower Gulf Ltd. He has experience of goods and service tax (GST) implementation in Malaysia and India for various industries as well.
He has also conducted various seminars on VAT and is a regular speaker providing insights on VAT at various clients, forums & events in the UAE, KSA, India, Malaysia and Bahrain.
Ankur’s India experience expands to providing advice on Pan India VAT matters which includes advisory, compliance, audit support, litigation support and conducting due – diligence work. He has been working for clients in manufacturing, trading, leasing, oil & gas, confectionery and pharma sectors.
Ankur was a Lead Manager on GST implementation projects in Malaysia for a number of listed and multinational entities, encompassing industries such as manufacturing, trading, retailing, pharma, direct selling, petroleum upstream, agro, entertainment etc.

Faizan Bashamakh is a Senior Manager in the tax practice at MMJS and has over 9 years of work experience in the field of indirect tax/VAT.
Faizan has in-depth experience in assisting multiple clients with VAT implementation, health checks, advisory and compliance services in UAE, Bahrain and India.
He also has practical experience in handling FTA audits, reconsideration, technical clarifications, etc. for various clients.
Prior to joining MMJS, Faizan was Group Tax Manager at AW Rostamani Group, UAE where he undertook a full range of tax services for the group across nine jurisdictions, including UAE.
He has also worked with the KPMG tax team in UAE, wherein he has assisted a portfolio of clients, including large family-owned businesses in VAT implementation and various indirect tax advisory services.
In India, Faizan was associated with Deloitte tax team where he supported clients with VAT, service tax and excise tax-related matters, including implementation of Goods and Service Tax (GST)/ VAT in India.

Rebecca is a Senior Manager with the indirect tax practice at MMJS Consulting. She is a lawyer by qualification and has more than a decade of indirect tax-related experience.
She also providing support to a credible portfolio of clients on VAT advisory, tax compliance support and tax litigation.
She has led new tax law implementation projects in UAE, India, and Oman for various clients spread across the real estate, infrastructure, airline, marine, e-commerce, pharmaceutical, logistics and finance sectors.
She specialises in contract review, ERP implementation and training personnel which bring value to her tax advisory and litigation support.
Rebecca has joined MMJS after extensive experience of working with Ernst & Young, SKP Business Consulting LLP and TTMS LLP in their indirect tax and tax technology practices.
In her past endeavours, she has assisted her ex-organisations in setting up the tax technology division and steering product developments.
She has represented her clients in various audits/assessments as well as supporting them for litigation up to the Tribunal level in India.
She has also been a trainer at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics in their initiatives to conduct workshops for Indian GST and SVB department officers.
She actively speaks at various platforms of industry and trade associations, webinars and seminars.
