Dubai – The New Global Hub for Coffee

Connecting you with trade opportunities through the DMCC Coffee Centre

About the event

In partnership with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, DMCC hosted a webinar that explores growth opportunities for African businesses in DMCC Coffee Centre and connects them to regional and international markets in Dubai.

DMCC Coffee Centre is the first-of-its-kind facility in the Middle East – that supports the coffee industry from crop to cup and caters to farmers, exporters, traders, roasters and retailers alike.

During our webinar, we presented services, infrastructure and facilities that can help African coffee businesses, and provided expert advice on how to expand to new markets and succeed.

Key topics:

  • Why Dubai and why DMCC? Learn more about Dubai’s favourable location and proximity to key markets, as well as DMCC’s unique facility in the MENA region
  • How the DMCC Coffee Centre serves as a strategic storage and re-distribution hub to cater to key East African consumer markets (UAE, KSA)
  • How the DMCC Coffee Centre can help showcase coffees to the region where both East/West African coffees are used by independent coffee shops
