The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) has recently signed an agreement to give its members access to the MyKYCBank platform.
This initiative was set up by GJKIC, a non-profit subsidiary of GJEPC, to simplify the compliance work required to do business with over 2,000 diamond traders in India and Belgium who have already signed up to the platform. By making connections with other companies on the system, KYC information can be shared, and companies will no longer need to request for all KYC documents from their clients – they simply have to connect (via a secure and private process) and download the verified and up to date information from the platform which is then stored in the records.
DMCC will be running several information sessions for its members to have a basic introduction to MyKYCBank, its usage, and its benefits. The first information session was on 19 February 2019 at Almas Conference Centre. Pranay Narvekar, CEO of MyKYCBank, delivered the information session in person and will be available to answer any questions.
