Introducing state of the art security and convenience, the Diamond Vault is the perfect companion for Diamantaires in Dubai. Housed within the Dubai Diamond Exchange floor, the Diamond Vault was built with accessibility and security in mind. Traders can deposit or withdraw goods from their safe deposit boxes in privacy and comfort. Boxes are taken in and out of the vault by a fully automated robot ensuring privacy and security for each customer.

International Gemological Institute’s (IGI), the world’s largest independent gem certification and appraisal institute, renowned for its quality services and extensive experience and expertise, has opened its largest laboratory and education centre in the Middle East region in DMCC’s Almas Tower.
The 5,000 square feet facility is the primary IGI lab in the region and houses the most modern technology in diamond grading. The lab certifies loose diamonds, diamond jewellery and coloured stones within the diamond laboratory section, as well as offer educational courses in Rough Diamond Grading; Polished Diamond Grading; Colour Stones Identification; Professional Jewellery Designing; Pearl Grading; Mounted Jewellery Grading; together with seminars for retail sales professionals on diamonds and coloured stones in the IGI School of Gemology.
The facility was inaugurated at the hands of Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, and Roland Lorie, CEO, IGI Worldwide, in the presence of Nico D’Haemer, MD, IGI Dubai; and Benoit Scheyvaerts, GM, IGI.
