Mercuria Energy Group, the Swiss international commodity trading company, has renewed the lease on their Middle East headquarters at DMCC for another five years.

DMCC – the world’s flagship Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise – has been home to Mercuria Energy Group for over 11 years, and acts as the hub for Mercuria’s operations across the region. The commodity trading firm is one of DMCC’s largest and longest serving member companies. The move from Mercuria to renew its lease underscores the strength and appeal of DMCC and the confidence it has in the market here in Dubai.

Celebrating this milestone at the Mercuria offices in Almas Tower, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, DMCC, said: “DMCC continues to attract and retain the leading commodity businesses from across the globe thanks to a range of first-class services and facilities. We look forward to working with and supporting Mercuria Energy Group in many more years to come.”
