DMCC Executive Chairman, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, hosted US Consul General in Dubai, His Excellency Philip Frayne, for talks at Almas Tower this afternoon.
The pair discussed the diplomatic ties between the UAE and the US, their developing trade relationship, and how well placed DMCC is to strengthen these ties even further.
During a short tour of the world’s leading free zone, the Executive Chairman and His Excellency discussed the success of over 400 American companies based in DMCC and the positive performance of the American Business Council Dubai (‘AmCham’), based in Almas Tower since September.
His Excellency thanked the Executive Chairman for his support of American enterprise and continued work to connect US companies to global trade flows through the hub of Dubai.
With ambitious visions for future partnership, both outlined their support of free trade and underlined the importance of Dubai’s welcoming climate for investment and ease of doing business.
