Shari'a advisor

Professor Dr Jassim Alshamsi is a prominent Emirati Shari'a scholar and an innovative leader in the Islamic banking industry. He previously served as Dean of the College of Shari'a and Law at the UAE University. He currently chairs, and is a member of, many Internal Sharia Supervision Committees "ISSC" for Islamic banks and financial institutions across the UAE. He is also a member of the Higher Shari'ah Authority of the Central Bank of the UAE. Dr Jassim holds a PhD in Civil Law and is the author of many books on Islamic banking and finance.
