What do I need to open for a P.O. Box?
You will be required to submit a copy of the following:
- DMCC Trade Licence
- NOC letter from DMCC FZ
- Emirates ID of the person whose name(s) is on the licence
- Emirates ID of the person who is authorized to open and use the P.O. Box (agent)
Do we have to sign up for a Corporate P.O. Box if we are using a Personal/Individual P.O. Box for our business?
Yes. All businesses registered with DMCC should sign up for their own corporate box
Are P.O. Boxes available in the JLT area?
Yes. Corporate P.O. Boxes are located within several JLT properties. When registering for your P.O. Box, you may choose your P.O. Box number and the location of the nearest available unit to your office. The Emirates Post employees at the counter will assist you through the process.
What other services does the Emirates Post Office in DMCC offer?
The Emirates Post Office offers DMCC members the following additional services
1- Domestic and International Postal Services - “documents only”
2- Payment of third party invoices such as DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, du, Etisalat
3- Payment of RTA traffic fines and Dubai Police violations
4- Flight booking and payments for Air Arabia and flydubai
Do DMCC members receive any special offers or incentives from Emirates Post?
Yes. Emirates Post offers DMCC members special packages tailored as per your company’s postal requirements.
Currently, Emirates Post is providing a 10% discount to DMCC employees and members towards the following services:
- Domestic Express (next-day, Door to Door delivery in the UAE)
- International Premium (a 1-3 day, Door to Door delivery Worldwide)
- International Express (a 2-5 day, Door to Door delivery Worldwide)
To avail of this discount, DMCC employees should present their work ID to the Emirates Post counter staff at any Emirates Post Office. DMCC members should show a copy of their DMCC Trade Licence.
The Emirates Post office is located on the first floor of Almas Tower, at counter No. 9. Their operating hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Sunday to Thursday.
