Ahmad Hamza

Ahmad Hamza is the Executive Director of Free Zone at DMCC (Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre), appointed to the role in November 2018.

Serving on DMCC’s executive team, Ahmad oversees the company’s free zone operations and commercial growth plan as the world’s leading trade and enterprise hub for commodities.

Ahmad drives business development strategy, and manages a large team tasked with generating revenue, increasing customer satisfaction levels, and creating an optimum business environment for DMCC members to grow their enterprise.

With expertise in the fields of Information Technology, Corporate Governance, and Operations Management, Ahmad is an integral part of the organisation’s successful transformation policy.

Prior to joining DMCC in 2012, Ahmad held senior positions at both Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and HSBC Middle East. He is also a member of the Mudara Institute of Directors (IOD).

Ahmad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Belal Jassoma is the Head of Business Development of the Free Zone arm of DMCC, the most interconnected Free Zone in the world, and a leading trade and enterprise hub.  

After joining DMCC in January 2011, Belal assumed the roles of Products & Services Development Manager and Senior Business Development Manager before taking on his current position in January 2018.

Belal has been instrumental in expanding the Free Zone offering, introducing new products and services, member engagement programs, and developing key strategic relationships which resulted in both business growth and member retention. As part of his current responsibilities as Head of BD, Belal leads several key functions for DMCC including corporate sales, business setup, partnerships, and product development. DMCC is now home to over 18,000 businesses and was named Global Free Zone of the Year by the Financial Times’ fDi Magazine for 6 consecutive years.     

Belal holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah and brings over 15 years of experience in real estate, investment and government administration.

Rong Wei is the Regional Representative for the Far East market at DMCC, the world’s leading Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise.

Joining the organisation in 2015, Rong Wei is responsible for promoting the benefits of doing business in Dubai and establishining a prescense in DMCC and building strategic partnerships with government, agencies and consultancies both regionally and internationally.

Engaging with key stakeholders in the industry is a key focus for Rong Wei, where is an expert in providing advice and customised solutions to both large corporates and SME’s in China and beyond.

With over 5 years of experience, Rong Wei has a solid grasp of the Asian markets and is heavily involved in DMCC’s chinese business community in the UAE.


LI JIANLU (JOHNNY)

GENERAL MANAGER

Graduated from the Insurance College in Marketing and Foreign Languages, and is currently the General Manager of Yingke Global for the Guangdong Region. Previously served as the Deputy Secretary-­‐General of the Shenzhen Outbound Alliance, the Deputy Secretary-­‐General of the Shenzhen Foreign Economic and Trade Statistics Association, and the International Marketing Director of Yingke Law Firm in Shenzhen.

Over the years, I have been committed to building an open platform and cooperation mechanism for governments and enterprises to “ Go Global” and explores overseas markets. And has actively participated in overseas market research, business cooperation, event promotion, public relations and safety, risk protection and other activities between enterprises and government. Specifically, has provided enterprises the early-­‐stage advice and services for "Going Global" in terms of policies, laws, investment and trade, and information exchange, thereby achieving a certain extent of information sharing, complementary advantages and risk prevention.

Have been studying in-depth the various support policies issued by governments at all levels for promoting "One Belt One Road" initiative, so as to build a bridge of communication and cooperation between governments and enterprises, in order to provide relevant professional advice at the right time.


Junjie Si

Representative

Dubai Chamber International Office in China

Junjie Si is the Representative of Dubai Chamber International Office in China. He currently manages the Chamber’s Shenzhen office.

In his 7 years’ experience at the Chamber, Junjie played consecutively successful roles across projects at Dubai Association Center as well as the Chamber’s Global Business Forum Series.

He is a graduate of the “Dubai Business Associates”, a selective and highly regarded programme under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Junjie holds a BA degree of Law from the University of International Relations in Beijing.
