The DMCC Impact Scale-Up Programme is a unique opportunity to support the growth of impact-driven businesses from across the world, wherein selected companies will get the chance to set up in DMCC – the world’s leading business hub.
The programme enables businesses contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to establish a presence in the UAE and leverage the local ecosystem as a launchpad to successfully expand across the MEA region. It provides a proven blueprint to successfully enter the UAE market, as well as create connections with local and regional investors and blue-chip companies.

FERYAL AHMADI

Feryal Ahmadi is the Chief Operating Officer of DMCC, and has been instrumental in securing DMCC’s reputation as the leading authority on international commodities trade and enterprise.
Overseeing its long-term strategic growth plan, Feryal has shaped the corporate governance structure in DMCC, and created marketplaces that increase global trade flows through Dubai.
Feryal manages the wider operations team tasked with developing the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) business district, and implementing the innovative DMCC Smart and Sustainable District Strategy.
As an official spokesperson, Feryal frequently engages with local and international media on a variety of topics to raise awareness of DMCC, and promote the commercial appeal of Dubai around the world.
As a committee member of Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) – established by UN Global Compact and UN Women – Feryal leads DMCC’s comprehensive sustainability programme. She also sits on the board of a number of semi-governmental entities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Feryal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the American University in Sharjah, and an Executive MBA from Harvard University.
MEDEA NOCENTINI

Medea Nocentini is the Founder of Companies Creating Change (C3), a UAE-based social enterprise fostering impact entrepreneurship. She is also a Chief Operating Officer at Global Ventures.
Medea previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at the AW Rostamani Group, a diversified family group operating 14 companies and counting 4000+ employees, where she was leading AWR Group’s strategy and planning, investment and corporate venture capital activities, market intelligence, risk management, performance management, and corporate marketing.
Prior to joining the AW Rostamani Group, Medea was Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development at OSN, the leading Pay TV platform in the MENA region, where she was responsible for corporate development and strategy planning, as well as market and consumer intelligence.
Before joining OSN, she spent several years at Booz Allen Hamilton developing strategies for TMT, consumer, and public sector clients across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (New York, USA), an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy), and an Engineering Diploma from Ecole Centrale Paris (France).
ALEXANDRA DRAYCOTT

Alexandra (Ali) Draycott is Senior Advisor for C3 where she plays an active role in developing C3’s programmes as well as mentoring startups. Ali is an experienced strategy, foresight and leadership specialist having held roles that span UK Government, blue-chip consultancies and UAE Government. Ali is Associate for Future Agenda, the world’s largest open foresight platform and has contributed to two books on the future “The World in 2025" and “Six Challenges for the Next Decade". Ali holds an MA Hons. in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University and was previously Chair of the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Association for the UAE.
