With a growing population of over 35,000 residents and over 15,000 people working in the free zone, the JLT community is extremely vibrant and diverse. From single entrepreneurs who have set up businesses at the free zone, to families commuting to Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Lakes Towers is the ideal choice to live, work and play.

Towers
There are currently 64 completed residential, commercial and mixed-use towers in JLT around the lakes, providing amenities such as function and party halls, swimming pools, and gyms to residents. As the towers have been developed by different sub-developers and owners, they all have a completely unique look and feel, adding to JLT’s diversity.
Lakes
The four winding lakes provide an idyllic backdrop to outdoor activities as there is plenty of space to walk, jog or cycle around them while enjoying the water and beautiful landscaping. Community members can also enjoy the range of restaurants and cafes operating along the waterfront.
Playgrounds
There are currently four children’s play areas in the community. The playgrounds are covered; allowing children to make use of them during the hotter months and security are always on patrol across the development.
Community Events
Jumeirah Lakes Towers is more than a development or a free zone, it is also a thriving community. We encourage our community to get together and to get to know one another, and we have a variety of activities planned that the entire community can enjoy. Upcoming events include community fairs along the lake front promoting local talent; open air farmers markets facilitating a healthy lifestyle; charity fairs enabling the community to help the less fortunate and Dubai Shopping Festival activities along the JLT’s serene waterfront. Metro Stations
As we are situated just 45 minutes from Abu Dhabi, JLT is also ideal for those who have to make the commute. With two metro stations servicing the community (Jumeirah Lakes Towers Station and Dubai Marina Station) it’s never been easier to travel to the City Centre or Airport without worrying about traffic or parking.
Prime Location
For those looking for easy access to Dubai hotspots, the beach and marina are also only a five-minute drive away from JLT, although many of our residents prefer to walk during the cooler months, crossing over Sheikh Zayed Road via the metro bridges. Ibn Battuta Mall is also a five-minute drive away, Marina Mall is at a similar distance and Mall of the Emirates is only 10 minutes away; all accessible by metro.
Retail and Leisure
You don’t have to go all the way to a mall to do your grocery shopping. We currently have three Carrefour Expresses, Park N Shop and a Spinney’s Market in JLT. We also have a range of independent grocery stores that offer home delivery services. In fact, JLT has over one million square feet of retail, located at the upper concourse and lower lakeside promenade levels. There are cafes, coffee shops, designated shisha locations, and restaurants with cuisines reflecting the eclectic and international mix of residents and users. There are spas, health and beauty parlours for men, women and children including an aesthetic centre; mini marts, groceries; gyms and health clubs; laundries; home decor and furniture stores; medical clinics; pharmacies and real estate agents to provide a range of facilities and services to the JLT community.
Nurseries, which are an essential service to the community, are located as close as possible to the JLT children’s play grounds or are designed to provide their own dedicated areas for play within their premises.

Hotels in JLT
You don’t have to live or work in JLT to enjoy its unique community lifestyle, and more and more business and leisure visitors are choosing to stay at JLT hotels when visiting Dubai. For five star luxuries, there’s the Bonnington Hotel, whose McGettigan’s Irish Pub is the toast of the town. Oaks Liwa Heights provides for long and short term guests, and in 2013, the Movenpick Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Pullman Jumeirah Lakes Towers will open their doors to the community.
