Horwath MAK Joins the JLT Free Zone
David Chitty, Council Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, International Accounting & Audit Director at Crowe Horwath International; and a Member of SMP Committee at IFAC and a Partner at Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP officially inaugurated Horwath MAK DMCC Office on January 12, 2012 at 28th Floor, AU (Gold) Tower, JLT, Dubai.
The inauguration was attended by more than 200 guests consisting of esteemed DMCC Authority officials, key important Clients, prominent Bankers and Lawyers, professional partners and colleagues, honorable Chairman and past Chairman of The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India – UAE (Dubai) Chapter and many other influential dignitaries.
On behalf of DMCC, Amer Musa Al Jaghbeer, Government Services Director, Legal Registrar, Hassan Nasser, Director Compliance and Inspection, Abhijit Shahane, Manager Business Development and Belal Jassoma, Business Development Executive Manager attended the inauguration.
The event commenced with a networking breakfast, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Khalid Maniar, Chairman of Horwath MAK Group; a brief on opportunities at the JLT Free Zone was given by CA. Nimish Makvana, Horwath MAK DMCC office Managing Partner, the key note address by David Chitty, Council Member Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales; and a vote of thanks by Mr. Zayd Maniar, International Liaison Partner.
