• License Renewal Fees for 3 years and original old license.
• A Valid Property Contract for three (3) year period for which the License will be renewed accompanied with related documents.
  • Owner Occupied Property: Title Deed is required [Original needed for verification].
  • Leased Property: A Valid Lease Agreement, along with a Current dated Certificate of Ownership (from Building Management) OR a copy of the Title Deed [All originals needed for verification].
• Original Third party Liability Insurance Certificate issued by a UAE Insurance company along with an undertaking letter to renew the policy annually. Policy must reflect the Company Name and Location as per License.
• A Standard Letter (Template Attached) to be printed on the company letterhead. (Original needs to be submitted).
• For Jewellery Activities: Original Police report issued from the Department of Protective System along with an undertaking letter to renew the policy annually (Federal requirement for Jewellery Companies).
• For Retail/Manufacturing Activities: A valid Operation Fitness Certificate (OFC) issued by Concordia or Environment, Health & Safety – FZ Department (EHS-FZ Dept.) is required along with an undertaking letter to renew the policy annually.

Remarks:

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority advises clients to renew licenses on time. Clients have One Month from expiry date to complete renewal formalities; If not completed within the given grace period, the license shall be subject to penalty fees (Fine of AED 510 per month calculated from expiry date listed on the license).

Please Note: As per Rules & Regulations of the DMCCA, all companies registered with the DMCCA should mention on the letterhead that ‘company is registered & Licensed as a FREEZONE Company under the Rules & Regulations of the DMCCA’ (This Sentence must be fixed on all Letter Heads as a Header or Footer).
