WFDB-Presidents Meeting
DMCC, and its subsidiary, the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE), hosted the Biennial Presidents' Meeting of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) in Dubai from 11-13 April 2011, further highlighting the UAE’s pivotal role within the international diamond arena. During the event, former South African president Thabo Mbeki, the Honorary Guest Speaker at the gala dinner, praised Dubai and the UAE for developing the country into one of the major players in the diamond industry world-wide.
